Mixing Criteria

Coefficient of Variation (CoV) ≤0.05 at conditioning tank entry. Very low treatment rates (1–100 g/t) demand centreline injection quill. Abrasive mineral slurry (up to 40% solids) causes rapid wear of unprotected steel elements. Wide flow range as mine throughput varies shift to shift.

Material & Special Requirements

Preferred MOC: Rubber-lined carbon steel for fine particle abrasive slurries. UHMWPE liner for moderate abrasion. FRP for corrosive slurry chemistry. Injection quill in 316SS or ceramic-lined for maximum wear resistance.

Rubber-lined interior for abrasive slurry protection. UHMWPE lining for fine grinding slurries. Injection quill must handle neat xanthate (flammable, toxic) with non-return valve. KE-R removable elements for wear inspection.

Kenics-equivalent. 180° RH/LH helical elements joined at 90°. Halves striation thickness per element. Works laminar to turbulent. Best general-purpose choice.
