Mixing Criteria

Coefficient of Variation (CoV) ≤0.05 at cartridge filter inlet. Injection ratio extremely low (<0.01% v/v) — centreline quill positioning critical. Mixer must function across full flow range including start-up and part-load.

Material & Special Requirements

Preferred MOC: GRP or FRP standard for seawater (high chloride corrosivity). PVDF-lined or 316SS for brackish water. PVDF injection quill with centreline tip.

Injection quill tip at pipe centreline essential for uniform distribution at low injection ratios. Multi-port nozzle for DN>400. System must accommodate full flow range during start-up.

Kenics-equivalent. 180° RH/LH helical elements joined at 90°. Halves striation thickness per element. Works laminar to turbulent. Best general-purpose choice.
