STATIC MIXER FOR CIP & CLEANING CHEMICAL DOSING

CIP systems in pharmaceutical plants require uniform distribution of caustic (Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) 1–3%), acid (Nitric Acid (HNO₃) or H₃PO₄ 0.5–2%), and sanitiser (Peracetic Acid (PAA), chlorinated alkali) to clean production equipment.

Mixing Criteria

Coefficient of Variation (CoV) ≤0.05 at Clean-in-Place (CIP) supply header entry. Mixer must withstand full Clean-in-Place (CIP) chemical concentration and temperature range. Fully drainable — no pooling of Clean-in-Place (CIP) chemical between cleaning steps.

Material & Special Requirements

Preferred MOC: 316L SS Ra ≤0.8 µm. EPDM or FKM O-rings (check compatibility with specific Clean-in-Place (CIP) chemicals). Tri-clamp connections.

3A certified construction. Tri-clamp ends for inline removal during validation. KE-R removable elements for full visual inspection after Clean-in-Place (CIP) validation. Fully drainable: no horizontal dead legs. EPDM O-rings for standard CIP; FKM for Peracetic Acid (PAA) or acid Clean-in-Place (CIP) cycles.
